[Bearing in mind the set of regions could certainly be different.]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Approximate Regions &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>East End<\/strong>:_ St. Andrew East Rural; St. Thomas [2]; Portland [2]<\/li><li><strong>St. Mary &amp; St. Ann East<\/strong>:_ St. Mary [3]; St. Ann [2]<\/li><li><strong>Trelawney &amp; St. Ann West:<\/strong>_ Trelawney [2]; St. Ann [2]<\/li><li><strong>St. James:<\/strong>_ all five<\/li><li><\/li><li><strong>West End:<\/strong>_ Hanover [2]; Westmoreland [3]<\/li><li><strong>St. Elizabeth:<\/strong>_ all four<\/li><li><strong>Manchester:<\/strong>_ all four, plus Clarendon NW<\/li><li><strong>Clarendon:<\/strong>_ all five<\/li><li><\/li><li><strong>St. Catherine N&amp;W:<\/strong>_ St. Catherine &#8211; N Central; NE; NW; Central; SW<\/li><li><strong>St. Catherine  SE:<\/strong>_ St. Catherine &#8211; South; S Central; Central; East; E Central<\/li><li><\/li><li><strong>Capital Centre:<\/strong>_ Kingston [3]; St. Andrew South; and SW<\/li><li><strong>Capital North East:<\/strong>_ St. Andrew &#8211; East; NE; N Central; NW; West Rural<\/li><li><strong>Capital South West:<\/strong>_ St. Andrew &#8211; SE; E Central; W Central; West; plus St.Catherine SE<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Two of these regions likely would have the Regional Member being of the Labour party, ..while the others all from the PNP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So the PNP, currently at 22% of the Assembly, would be ~33% instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trinidad and Tobago<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Installing a Regional Seats system could mean having 9 regions of 4 seats each, so: &#8230;36 directly elected, plus 9 Regionals = 45 Members in parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">For illustrative purposes, here are the current 41 seats assembled into nine regions, a rough approximation of what a Regional Seats set-up might look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1)_ Diego Martin West; &#8211;Central; &#8211;Northeast; ..Port of Spain South; &#8211;North\u2013St Ann&#8217;s West<\/li><li>2)_ Laventille W; Laventille E\u2013Morvant; Barataria\u2013San Juan; St Joseph; St Ann&#8217;s East <\/li><li>3)_ Tunapuna; St Augustine; Arouca\u2013Maloney; Lopinot\u2013Bon Air West; D&#8217;abadie\u2013O&#8217;Meara<\/li><li>4)_ Arima; Toco\u2013Sangre Grande; Tobago W; Tobago E <\/li><li>5)_ Chaguanas W; &#8211;E; Caroni E; La Horquetta\u2013Talparo <\/li><li>6)_ Couva N; Couva S; Caroni Central; Tabaquite; Pointe-\u00e2-Pierre <\/li><li>7)_ San Fernando W; &#8211;E; Naparina; Oropouche E <\/li><li>8)_ Oropouche W; Fyzabad; La Brea; Point Fortin; Siparia <\/li><li>9)_ Moruga\u2013Tableland; Princes Town; Mayaro; Cumuto\u2013Manzilla<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Barbados<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently (mid 2021) all 30 seats in the Barbados Assembly are filled by Members of one party; there are no opposition voices there at all.
